FSSAI Tatkal License – Product Eligibility

✅ Products Eligible Under Tatkal License

• Pre-packaged Snacks – Chips, Namkeen, Popcorn
• Bakery Products – Bread, Biscuits, Cakes
• Confectionery – Chocolates, Toffees, Chewing Gum
• Cereals and Pulses – Wheat Flour, Rice, Dal (pre-packed)
• Fats & Oils – Packaged Mustard Oil, Sunflower Oil
• Ready-to-Eat Packaged Foods – Instant Noodles, Heat-and-Eat Meals
• Non-Dairy Beverages – Soft Drinks, Juices, Bottled Water
• Honey, Sugar, Jaggery
• Dry Fruits and Nuts – Almonds, Cashews (packaged)
• Spices and Seasonings – Masala Powders, Mixed Spices
• Storage and Distribution of Packaged Products (excluding meat/fish/dairy)
• Import/Export of any Pre-Packaged Product (including meat/fish/dairy)

❌ Products Not Eligible for Tatkal License

• Meat and Meat Products – Fresh or Processed Chicken, Mutton, etc.
• Fish and Seafood – Prawns, Tuna, Frozen Fish (unless imported/exported pre-packed)
• Fresh Dairy Products – Milk, Paneer, Butter (excluded for transporters/storage)
• Loose/Open Food Sales (except for petty retailers like tea/snack vendors)
• Unpacked Street Food or Meals (for larger establishments)

Note: Petty vendors and hawkers may still apply if dealing in loose food/snacks with limited turnover.
